BlueWhale Research Inc and its affiliates (collectively, “BlueWhale Research,” “us” or “we”) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This site is operated by us for the purpose of marketing products and services of our customers. Please read the following carefully to understand our practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of any personal information or personal data (as such terms are understood under applicable law). 

This Privacy Policy applies to this website. Other sites owned and operated by BlueWhale Research or our subcontractors may have differing policies. 

How we handle information collected on this site

  1. Collection of information: This site does not collect information directly for BlueWhale Research. We do not use cookies or other indirect means of tracking your visits such as tracking pixels or embedded codes, web beacons, or pixel tags. We do not log the client IP address, which is considered personal data under applicable privacy laws in some areas. This site hosts many web forms for our customers which may have such tracking enabled, however. The information that is collected on forms hosted on this website is done so in accordance with separate privacy policies linked on the same page as the forms themselves. This privacy policy does not pertain to these pages, or to any information that you input into the forms that are hosted on this site. Such information may include your name, title at work, name and address of the company you work for and your work telephone number and email address, and sometimes other data that you may input. You are not obligated to provide us with any of this personally identifiable information at any time. We will never ask for sensitive personal information.
  2. Information we collect about you: Certain information is automatically logged when you visit our sites, including technical information such as your browser type and version, language, the date and time you are accessing any of our Sites, and (where provided) the referring website address. We do not log your client IP address. We do not share or preserve this information or use it for any purpose other than administration of our systems.
  3. Additional information: If you contact us with a complaint or query, we may keep a record of your contact information along with that correspondence to ensure we provide good customer service. We may also ask you to complete surveys about our products and services that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them. You may also withdraw your consent to having your personal information used for such purposes at any time.

Our Handling of collected information

The technical information we collect about you during your visit is logged in our central log server and may be reviewed by our security staff or referenced in investigations of security incidents or other routine purposes. It will not be stored indefinitely, nor used to cross reference with other data to track your activity for any other purpose.  

Where Data is Stored

Your data will be stored in secure cloud based data servers with no direct access to the public Internet. The data is regularly archived and deleted in accordance with our data retention policies.

BlueWhale Research has implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to help protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of collected information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be entirely secure, and BlueWhale Research assumes no liability for any damage suffered by you caused by the interception, alteration, or misuse of information during transmission.

Children

 This site is not designed to collect the personal information of children. If we discover that anyone contacting us is under the age of 16, we will delete any data we may have gathered. 

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may change from time to time, and we will post any changes to it on this page. Your continued use of this site following such posts will signal your acceptance of such changes. The date this Privacy Policy was last updated appears at the bottom.

Your Rights and Access to Personal Information

This site does not collect personal information from you. Notwithstanding the fact that any personal information collected is subject to your rights of access, accuracy, and deletion in specific jurisdictions, such rights do not apply when no personal data is collected.  Information which you input to forms hosted on this site is subject to your rights as explained in the privacy policy associated with the form where you input the information. This policy does not pertain to this information.
